There are other keyboard options on amazons android market . You can side load amazons market on maxysis. Autel would have to submit device for aproval to google in order to get google play

Can you explain how to download other apps and install on the 908. I've tried but won't
install.

Just go to the Amazon site.
Download the mobile app and if needed make an account if not done so already.
After downloading and installing (unknown sources must be checked within the
settings menu witch youll see during your first 3rd party app install) the app do a
search within for Dropbox (or any other cloud storage app).
From there go to a differnt droid device and back up what ever app you want from
there (use ES File Exsplorer, ext) and upload the .apk to dropbox (cloud storage).
From there use your maxisys and hit the home icon and open Dropbox .
Locate your .apk file .
Click on it to download it.
Install.
That's one way and most user friendly.
You can also install via micro sd card or bluetooth.
Google is your friend on hat one.
